Happy Little Moments with Noel Mignon...

Happy Monday! Today I want to share a layout with you that I created using the Noel Mignon Country Life Kit. Anyone who knows me, know how much I love anything floral, so when I saw this paper, and a some of the flower embellishments, I knew exactly how I wanted to put this layout together!
I started by using a bit of gesso on the background paper, behind where the photo would be going.  Next I splattered lots of the Heidi Swapp Butter Colour Shine that came in the kit.  Once that dried, I grabbed Metallic Melon & Metallic Blueberry Gelatos, and scribbled them on my craft mat, then spritzed with water, then used my finger to apply it around the yellow splatters.
Next I went crazy layering all kinds of paper, doilies, and embellishments together.
 Thanks for stopping by!

And if you are interested in the Noel Mignon Country Life Kit there are still 2 left in the shop, so grab one while you can!

How To Find Your Scrappy Mojo And Shop Your Stash!

Don't you hate when you loose your scrappy mojo? Usually I scrapbook everyday but I had a week where I would just sit down at my desk and push pretty papers around but nothing seemed to work. So I decided to sort through my scrapbook supplies. As I was doing this I found a number of paper collections sitting completely untouched. Collections that I absolutely love, but was hanging on to until I felt my scrapbooking was "good enough". Seriously? what is wrong with me? There is no right or wrong style of scrapbooking, I just need to use these lovely papers! So I decided to write down each collection on a strip of paper, then I wrote down different supplies and embellishments that I needed to use, some old, some new. Next I cut them out and folded them and put them all in a tin

Next I chose a number (of how many items I wanted to use) and then started pulling tags out of the tin.  Because I have quite a number of paper collections, I used the first one I chose, then any others I pulled out, I set off to the side.  Here is what I came up with for the layout below
The moment I started pulling the tags out, my mojo came back! AND... this was the perfect solution to shop my stash and use up products I have been hoarding or just plain forgetting about.
And here is the product I chose from all my supplies, and here is what I created with it all!
The word "Happy" was cut from the Memory Box Die "Large Parker Deluxe Upper Case Alpha Set #98447" that I have had forever and keep forgetting about. They are 1/4 inch tall!!
I love how the old and new supplies just seem to go together like they were meant to! Look at that cute Maggie Holmes Confetti Bird and the Sassafras Lass Boarder Stickers together!!!!
All the little details just make me happy!!!
I am so happy how this layout turned out.  I love the mix of old and new, and forgotten supplies!

Beach Bums

Happy Monday everyone! Today I want to share with you this layout I created using the Noel Mignon Country Life Kit. Last week the Design Team created projects around the awesome theme "Life Lessons" and this layout fits in with that theme, so I thought I would share my "Life Lesson" with this layout.

My Life Lesson is "Make Memories".  We were on our 1st big family fishing vacation in 4 years, and before we left Clay and I had discussed that this vacation was all about the boys and making awesome memories.

One day on vacation we went out for a boat ride and stopped for a shore lunch on this tiny little inlet on the lake.  The boys had so much fun running around, splashing, playing, swimming, digging and building sand castles.  The next day (and everyday after that) this is where the boys wanted to have lunch, so as long as the weather was nice, this is where we all went!

Since we have been home, well over a month later, the boys still chatter about "remember when we had lunch in the water with Aunt Sue, Uncle Ken, Jack, Lizzy & Molly? That was so much fun!" I am so happy they have fun memories of our summer vacation!

For the background on this layout I used gesso, then used my gelatos, and mists to make a water like background. Next I used the Barn Stamp, and the cap from the Heidi Swapp Color Shine that came in the kit and stamped with several blue inks to create the circle and "arrows".
I love all the little embellishments that came in this kit! They added the perfect little touches!
If you are interested in the COUNTRY LIFE KIT, there are only 2 left in the shop, so hurry over before they are gone!

Canning with Noel Mignon!

Today I want to share with you a layout I created using this months
COUNTRY LIFE KIT from NOEL MIGNON!!

The moment I saw the Blue Gingham Paper, the Mason Jar Clips and that cute Barn Stamp, I knew exactly what I want to scrap about!

How awesome are the Mason Jar Clips?!
I love to cluster & layer lots of things together with my glue gun!

For the background I used the Shimelle Hearts Stencil, and some Modeling Paste.  I also painted some Gesso on the background to make my layers "pop".

I stamped the Barn Stamp all over the background using my Staz On Ink

I used the Heidi Swapp Colour Shine in Butter, that came in the kit, all over my layout.
It showed up awesome on the kraft background.

I added some messy stitching, and some more splatters with my mist & gelatos!  I hope I have inspired you with this layout!

Also don't forget about the CHALLENGE we have going on over at NOEL MIGNON!  Play along and you can win a Daily Diary Kit of your choice!!!!   You can read more about it HERE .  You have until August 31 to get your entries in!!
